On March 20 2012, Madonna’s Girl Gone Wild video was released.

The black-and-white music video was directed by Mert Alan and Marcus Piggott. The video featured Madonna and a number of male models in different looks, dancing with the Ukrainian group Kazaky. It received critical acclaim for the editing and the visuals, while reviewers noted that it took inspiration from several past videos released by Madonna, such as Erotica, Justify My Love, Human Nature and Vogue.

Artur Gaspar from Kazaky recalled:

“By the end of the day on set, our feet were bleeding and we had blisters… But if Madonna can repeat the dancing for the 50th time, why can’t we?”

On September 5 2012, Hard Candy Fitness announced the launch of the Addicted to Sweat DVD series.  The fitness programs were created by Madonna and demonstrated by Madonna’s personal trainer Nicole Winhoffer.

Madonna had this to say about the series:

“Addicted to Sweat is inspired by my weekly workout regimen that helps me take care of my mind and body.”

Nicole had this to say:

“Madonna is my mentor and my teacher. Working together these last few years has enabled us to reach our goals in creating a beautiful and ideal physique for her. Through this experience, we were able to create training techniques that I get to showcase in the Addicted to Sweat DVDs.”

On August 7 2012, Turn up the Radio was released in North America.

Written by Madonna, Martin Solveig, Michael Tordjman and Jade Williams, and produced by Madonna and Solveig, the song was released as the third and final international single from the MDNA album.

On July 16 2012, Madonna’s music video for Turn Up The Radio was released. The video was directed by Tom Munro.

At the end of the video, an exhausted Madonna lays down in the backseat of the car as the chauffeur says to her in Italian:“La festa è finita, adesso allacciati la cintura stronzetta!” which translates: “The party is over, now fasten your seat belt, bitch!”.
