On October 19 2002, Madonna’s Die Another Day debuted at #41 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA.  The hit single spent 17 weeks on the chart, eventually peaking at #8 on November 9.

  1. American Life was a good album. Unfortunately Americans were too caught up in Bush’s lies and it hurt Madonna’s career in the USA, but the rest of the world saw through his bs. This was the first single and Michael Columbier did an amazing job with the strings. Die another Day, American Life, Hollywood, Nothing Fails, Nobody Knows Me, and Love Profusion should have all been top 10s. Nothing Fails should have had a video. It was one of the best songs on the record.
