On June 22, 2013, Madonna’s The MDNA Tour aired on EPIX.

The seven-time Grammy Award winner returns to the stage in an epic world tour billed as “a journey from darkness to light.” And whether you’re in it for Madonna’s trademark blend of controversial themes and killer dance moves, or simply some delicious pop hooks, you won’t be disappointed.
On June 18 and 19 2012, Madonna was in Florence, Italy, shooting the music video for Turn Up the Radio. The video was directed by Tom Munro. Tom had previously directed Madonna’s music video for Give It 2 Me in 2008.
The video was released on July 16, 2012.
On June 18 2013, Madonna rocked a tuxedo while attending the premiere of her new film Madonna: The MDNA Tour held at the Paris Theatre in New York City.
On April 24 2012, Madonna’s Girl Gone Wild 12″ picture disc was released.

On April 14, 2012, Madonna’s MDNA ranked as the number-one electronic album on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart in the USA.
MDNA remained number-one for the issues dated April 21, 28, and May 5.
On April 9 2012, Avicii released the Ultra Music Fest Remix of Girl Gone Wild. The remix kept all of Madonna’s original vocals, but the Swedish hitmaker lent his signature electro sounds to the back beat of the UMF Mix version. While Madonna’s album version of Girl Gone Wild was danceable as is, the revamped Avicii version made the song into an all-out party, with intense synth and Eurodance beats added to the MDNA track.
During a Twitter Q&A Madonna held on March 27, 2012, to promote her new album, deadmau5 tweeted her:
“You’re a role model to 100’s of millions. You have a powerful voice, EDM could use your positive influence, not ‘molly’ talk.”
Madonna responded by tweeting an old picture of herself wearing Mickey Mouse ears, captioned:
“From one mouse to another, I don’t support drug use and I never have. I was referring to the song called Have You Seen Molly written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my album.”
Deadmau5 replied:
“Fair enough, i was just voicing my concerns as i usually do. +1 respect for clearing it up personally.”
