On November 30 1994, Madonna’s second music video release from Bedtime Stories, Take A Bow, was released. The award winning music video (Best Female Video at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards) was directed by Michael Haussman in Ronda and Antequera, Spain.

The bullfighter in the video was played by real-life Spanish bullfighter Emilio Muñoz. Muñoz reprised his role with Madonna in the You’ll See music video, also directed by Haussman in 1995.

  1. The sad strange side of the performer Madonna, neither receiving the best female video from VMA’s she was available and glad to perform Take a bow… due to her fear of ruin hers songs live. Performed only once live at AMA’s and then 20 years later in Rebel heart tour. So I wonder why you make music that you’re not able to sing and provoke too much fear to you? You produce music that absolutely you want to sing and give that to your audience. So the very weird side of her, one pity after another with so many songs not sung live or sung only one.
