On November 20 1998, the U.K.’s Channel 4 aired a Madonna interview conducted by Johnny Vaughan. The special was titled Johnny Meets Madonna and was part of Madonna’s European promotional campaign for The Power Of Good-Bye and the Ray Of Light album.

  1. It’s sad that after Hard Candy and her departure from WB Records that she doesn’t get promoted as much anymore. Now they are calling Madame X a flop. Well a flop doesn’t hit number 1. Mother fuckers in the USA wouldn’t know good music if it bit them on the ass because they have their head ao full of shitty rap about rape, violence and guns they don’t even know what Fado or Latino music is. Madame X should’ve been nominated for Grammys. Fuck the USA music industry.

  2. What I find interesting about this brief moment in Europe is that she had her original 80s, not fully manicured eyebrows back for a hot second. They had otherwise not been seen since early 1990 and never again seen after this super short moment. Lol ;p
