On November 19 1986, Madonna’s Open Your Heart single was released. Open Your Heart was the fourth single to be released from the True Blue album.
The single would eventually become Madonna’s fifth number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 (topping the chart on February 7, 1987).

The single version is much better than the album version. The 7″ single remix is 3:57 and is hard to find today. It was played on radio stations back in late 1986 and 1987. It’s available on the promo album “It’s that Girl”. Such a great album with all Madonna’s singles up to Who’s That Girl. I wish Madonna never left Warner because now it’s almost impossible to buy her Maxi Singles.
