On January 23 1994, Bye Bye Baby re-entered the New Zealand singles chart, ultimately peaking at #43. The track had initially charted in the country for a single week in late November of 1993.

Erotica’s final single-Bye Bye Baby-reportedly written about Warren Beatty is not among Madonna’s better songs or finer moments because her delivery and performance is angry, vindictive, immature and flat-or maybe that was Madonna’s intention because in 1994, she was still viewed as an angry brat bitch because of the embarrassment disaster controversy that was the Sex book!
