On May 29 1995, Robert Hoskins was shot by a security guard outside Madonna’s Castillo Del Lago estate in Los Angeles, California for trespassing on her property and threatening to marry or kill Madonna. Madonna was not at home during the time of the incident.
Hoskins was shot in the arm and hip and was arrested on $150,000 bail.

Yet another example of hero/fan worship gone too far if we are not careful or mindful! There are a lot of crazy people in the world today!
I wonder what happened to this guy more than a decade later. In some perverse way, he did get what he wished for – to see Madonna in the flesh and get her to acknowledge his existence. What a life. I hope he got better for his own sake.
