On April 4 1987, open dance auditions were held for Madonna’s Who’s That Girl World Tour at the Debbie Reynolds Studio on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood, California.
The call ad sought dancers that were:
“Good in rock, free-style, jazz and latin.”
Audition times:
- 1:00 PM – Males who look 9-12 years-old
- 3:00 PM – Male and female
- 4:00 PM – Latin-looking men, 30-50 years-old (bring prepared Latin piece)

Today In Madonna History 
I never saw the Who’s That Girl? Tour in the flesh but I later saw it on video and I was impressed by Madonna’s energy, dance moves and on ballads Live to Tell and The Look of Love-the absolute and unconscionable sadness in her voice!
Dallas. My first ever Madonna concert and first ever concert! It blew me away! A night I will never forget
