Out of all her Detroit masterpieces, Warner Bunny ballad comp Something to Remember is Madonna’s best artwork because she sings and writes beautifully about her life-Madonna cries in sadness and tears. Madonna’s style of Heartland Rock will live forever because she Lives to Tell and Takes a Bow
-and that is Something to Remember.
Her ballads are loved just as much as her dance songs. I would’ve left the second version of I want You off the album and added The Look of Love. Not sure why this beautiful song has been forgotten. Be nice to have a volume 2 of Something to Remember!
Loved something to remember Madonna has always made killer dance tracks and her ballads are also outstanding not many artists do both well. See Britney Rihanna and lady Gaga for details Madonna has always made memorable ballads
