On November 12 1984, Madonna’s Like A Virgin album was released by Sire Records.  The album was re-released worldwide in 1985, to include the bonus track, Into the Groove.

  1. Like a Virgin-what else can I say is Madonna doing what it takes to not only become Rock’s biggest star but also best artist as well! Three signature Virgin chapters-Material Girl, #1 hit title cut and sad
    I-don’t-have-my-mother ballad Love Don’t Live Here Anymore-are being sung on the Rebel Heart Tour and that makes Like a Virgin one of the more durable Eighties records in Rock. Deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as Let It Be, Born in the USA and The Unforgettable Fire-but Like a Virgin towers above them all! Once again, the winner is Madonna!
